Well, I am certainly selling some, although it is very early to form an views. Looking at Amazon, I have reached as high as 8,000 in the overall list (that must be good). It has also reached number 14 in the Peninsular War list which is not bad when most of the top ten are books on Waterloo (I don't think they have moved Waterloo to Spain!)
I received the following communication from António Teixeira Duarte
https://www.facebook.com/UltramaratonaLinhasDeTorres/videos/vb.355164911338414/371515603036678/?&theater= The Ultramarathon of the Lines of Torres Vedras has been run on the Saturday 9th May. It's a charity run with no competition. This year we used flags of the U.K. and of Portugal (1810) in the eng of each one of the twelve stages that summed the 100 km of the run. Fantastic achievement for organising this great event. Well done to you all. ANTONIO. My apologies, I thought this had been posted many weeks ago. I have only just realised that it had saved it as a draft rather than publishing it. I received my first copies today and it is available from the Pen & Sword website.
Go buy one. I will be giving a talk at the Royal Engineers Museum on 6 May 2015 as part of the AGM of the Friends of the Royal Engineers Museum (FoREM). I believe the talk will be open to the public, although FoREM will also be very happy if you want to join.
Should be in the shops early June 2015.
